Steve got involved in racing as a photographer in 2004 after falling in love with his horse, Cowboy.
Soon thereafter, he combined his love for racing and with his other passion, photography.
Since then, racing has taken Steve across the country to prominent tracks like Saratoga, Churchill Downs, Santa Anita, Belmont Park, Arlington Park and Keeneland, where he has had the opportunity to photograph many historical races and moments in horse racing. He is well-known for his Eclipse Award-nominated photo entitled “Justiflying” of 2018 Triple Crown winner, Justify, jumping a puddle during the Preakness Stakes.
